Closet Detox
The strategic starting point for understanding your wardrobe and what needs to happen next.
Closet Detox is for when your wardrobe already exists, but it no longer feels clear, cohesive, or aligned with where you are now.
This is the starting point for understanding what you own, what is still working, what no longer belongs, and what your style needs next.
During the session, I study the wardrobe with you: the pieces you reach for, the ones you avoid, the shapes, textures, colors, habits, preferences, and small details that reveal how you actually want to dress.
From there, we refine what is worth keeping and create a clearer direction for whatever comes next, whether that is shopping, seasonal wardrobe building, styling, or a larger wardrobe project.
Closet Detox is currently priced at $1,800 and includes up to 5 hours of private wardrobe review and styling direction.
For larger wardrobes or more involved projects, this may become a multi-session wardrobe review.
This service is best for clients who want to understand their wardrobe properly before investing in what comes next.

A More Strategic Wardrobe Review
1. Read the Wardrobe as a Whole
We look at what you already own as a full picture: what you chose, what you repeat, what you avoid, and what no longer fits where you are now.
2. Understand the Person Behind the Wardrobe
Your wardrobe shows more than what is hanging there. It reveals your comfort rules, taste patterns, lifestyle needs, and the places where your style needs more refinement.
3. Turn the Review Into Direction
From there, the edit becomes a strategy for what to keep, what to shift, and what should guide the next phase of your wardrobe.
What This Review Makes Possible
A More Current Use of What You Own
Strong pieces do not always need to be replaced. Some need to be restyled, tailored, reworked, or understood differently so they can support where your style is now.
A Higher Standard for What Belongs
The review helps clarify what deserves space in your wardrobe now, not just because it is expensive or still wearable, but because it supports your taste, lifestyle, and the image you want to carry forward.
A Clearer Direction for What Comes Next
Once we understand what still has value and what no longer fits the direction, the next additions become more precise, more personal, and more aligned with who you are becoming.

FAQ
Yes, if you already have a wardrobe to work with. Closet Detox is often the strongest place to begin when you want to improve your style in a meaningful way, not just buy more pieces or make quick changes. It helps clarify what is working, what is no longer aligned, and what needs to happen before the wardrobe can move forward properly.
Closet Detox is best for someone who is ready to make a real change and wants a more strategic way to improve how they dress day to day. It is especially useful if your wardrobe has been building for years, includes pieces from different stages of your life, or no longer reflects the level, ease, or image you want now.
We begin with a conversation about your wardrobe, lifestyle, style goals, and what has not been working. Then we review the wardrobe together, piece by piece where needed, so I can understand what you gravitate toward, what you avoid, what still has value, and what needs to shift.
We go through the wardrobe in the way the project requires. Some pieces may be easy to release right away, while others need more discussion because they reveal something important about your taste, habits, comfort, or past style decisions. Closet Detox includes up to 5 hours, and larger wardrobes may require more than one session.
Yes. I help you decide what should stay, what should go, what can be styled differently, and what may still have a place in the next phase of your wardrobe. The goal is not to remove everything. The goal is to make stronger decisions around what belongs now.
Closet Detox can be especially valuable when you already own strong pieces and want to make better decisions around them. Some pieces may be worth restyling, tailoring, reworking, or building around in a more current way. The goal is not to dismiss what you have already invested in. It is to understand what still belongs, what can be used more intentionally, and what will support the wardrobe direction moving forward.
No. Closet Detox is focused on the wardrobe you already have and what needs to happen next. Any shopping, sourcing, or seasonal wardrobe building would be a separate next phase after the direction is clearer.
Yes. If you already have a wardrobe, this is often the best starting point before shopping, seasonal capsule work, outfit styling, or a larger wardrobe project. It gives the next phase a stronger foundation because we are building from what we actually understand, not guessing.
If you do not want your current wardrobe considered at all, Closet Detox may not be the right first step. A Style Consultation may be better so we can understand what you are trying to achieve and decide the right direction from there.
Closet Detox is available in person in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. For clients outside the area, Closet Detox can also be done virtually when the wardrobe review can be handled remotely. For larger wardrobe projects, I offer destination styling and can travel when the work calls for more in-person wardrobe support.
